My very first internship rotation, 3 weeks, Oct 14-31, Doing a cooking demo was exceeding my rotation requirements; I wanted to practice for future cooking demos! I enjoyed teaching the staff about seasonal foods and encouraging them to teach their clients about seasonal foods. I progressed in my ability to perform nutrition assessments on WIC clients; pregnant mothers, infants, and children.
My learning objectives included learning how to accurately conduct anthropometric measurements on children. |
